Ever since the introduction of this newsletter earlier in the year, I seem to have written more articles about hole-in-ones than anything else! It's been a year of strange occurrences with Adam Mason having a hole-in-one on the First, swiftly followed by Ian Mann with a superb effort on the 7th two weeks later.
I thought things had calmed down a little, but here we go again, this time we talk about not one but TWO hole-in-ones on Sunday! The first of which was holed by Tom Fox with a hole-in-one on the 7th. To Tom's credit, he said that the pin position looked good! Reports by his playing partners said that it took one bounce and went straight into the hole.
Following Tom's hole-in-one, Tash Powell stepped up on the 10th Tee and hit a shot that his partners claimed "Never left the Pin", and to his delight, he couldn't find it on the green but was nestled at the bottom of the hole. To have two hole-in-ones on the same day certainly gave the clubhouse a buzz! Congratulations to both Tom and Tash, and thank you for the bottles on the bar, I'm sure everyone made good use of them!
