Callaway's Newest Release - The 'Elyte' Range has been a huge success and has some big moves in technology that have seen it become an instant success. But as is usually the case, Everyone shouts about the flagship driver, and sadly, the irons go under the radar. But with Irons like these, it's time to give them the credit that they deserve.

The Irons themselves come with two varieties, the Elyte and the Elyte X. The Elyte Iron is exactly what you would hope a flagship iron should do, and Callaway has stepped the game up to make it do even more. The major focus this year has been the forgiveness and distance from every spot on the face (Meaning mishits are better than ever!). Apart from the Distance, Callaway has also put a major focus on the sound a feel of the irons. It's surprising because the clubs feel like they are forged in the sense that they feel soft on the face and don't have the loud, firm sound that we associate with cast iron. Alongside this, the sole has been reshaped with the new Tri-Sole to allow for better turf interaction. The Elyte iron now has everything that we would expect from a top-end set of irons for the price of a normal set. Feel, sound, speed, and forgiveness have all been dramatically improved while the durability and price have remained the same as we have come to expect from Callaway. The X irons have transferred all of this fantastic tech into a larger and even more forgiving head shape. Its slightly longer from toe to heel and has a deeper sole for even more forgiveness in ground interaction. These irons launch higher due to the size, but also are one degree stronger for a little more distance.
